I’ve never seen a caracal cat in the wild but have tracked one with a Samburu guide who found fresh tracks on an early morning walk, they are still actively hunting as the dawn rises, before the heat of the day kicks in.

I’m blown away by their beauty and sheer athleticism, they are known to leap to catch birds in flight.I’ve tried to capture their feline intensity of gaze and regal posture.
