Silverback 2023

I’ve recently been working towards a collection of endangered animals in the hope of raising money for conservation (please see bio) and I wanted to give myself my biggest challenge yet: a Mountain Gorilla. I looked at so very many images of Gorillas that I have come to realise how different they all are. Some are blessed with good looks and machismo, while others frankly look as if they might not be the brightest sparks… This guy is, I hope, a handsome and powerful fellow who’s very much in touch with his gentle side.
